In needy communities, we develop activities with the population to meet their needs in the most diverse areas, for the benefit of these children and their families.
Find out more about the Baixada Project
The Baixada Project began in 2006, where God placed a desire in the heart of Missionary Rosa Barbosa, together with a group of missionaries (one of them being Jânio Lima, president of Missão Vida em Foco), to serve and provide assistance to the needs of people who lived in an invasion near Dendê, located in the Edson Queiroz neighborhood. After 11 years working in that place, in 2018, the community was transferred to Residencial Yolanda Queiroz. In the same residence, we were given a house, where we could continue our work, with the same families and also new people. Finally, we, as social transformers, dream of reaching the entire Yolanda Queiroz residential complex, expanding our work and reaching the entire public in that place, and we believe that God has dreamed of these people and has used us to fulfill his desires.
